Holy Family School has participated in several school-wide service projects for the school year 2007/2008. These projects are in addition to our classroom service projects.

5/8/08 - Twin jean day - $260.00. -- Money collected was given to Mr. Hird's brother and sister-in-law who are the new parents of identical twin daughters. The family has incurred many extra expenses due to the lengthly hospital stay the girls will need. Thanks to everyone!!

4/23/08  - Operation Candy Bars: We have a school-wide goal to send 250 of our Kathryn Beich candy bars to a former student, Favian Ramirez, who is serving with the Marines in Iraq. His last correspondence with us thanked us for Valentine cards and told of the plight the Iraqi children face. He enjoys giving the children he encounters candy and has asked for nothing for himself! Once again a former student who is putting what he learned here at Holy Family School into action! Pray for his safe return and for that of all of our soldiers overseas!

Candy Bar total as of 4/23/08 = 120 candy bars!!
