Valentines for Veterans----
One of the favorite projects during Catholic Schools’ Week is the period we make Valentine Cards for all of the veterans at our local V.A. Hospital and Care Center. Who could be more deserving of everyone’s special love than those that have served our country to protect our freedoms! Thank you Veterans—everywhere!

2008-2009 Registration
Yes, it is nearing the time for you to register your children for the next school year—already. Several items to remember as the new materials are being prepared:
•The 2007-2008 tuition payments need to be current.
•All payments will continue to go through FACTS. (Unless you are paying in advance with one payment in July) No exceptions.
• The registration fee is due at the time of registration.
• Complete the process early—some classes will be closed due to size limitations.
• Current families/students have always been our best advertisement. In that vein, we are in the "talking phase" of a special deal where if you bring us a new student/family, you could earn December’s tuition paid (up to the rate of $182.00)! Now wouldn’t that be a welcome gift at Christmas?! Stay tuned for details! Be thinking of some friends you could talk to about HFS!
• Tuition Rates for 2008-2009
• Parish Member (regularly participates in the Sacraments): $2184. ($182.00 per 12 months)
• Non-Catholic: $2868. ($239. per 12 months)
($286. per 10 months.—saves you $8.00)
• Non-active Parish Member (is not… currently attending weekly mass nor regularly using their church envelopes nor sharing their talents in other ways): $2868. ($239. per 12 mo.)
• Any family applying for financial assistance should have completed the FACTS Assessment form and with $20.00 mailed it to Lincoln, NE by February 15th.
• Any Catholic family applying for financial assistance should have completed the FACTS form, mailed it in per above and filed for the Diocesan John Lancaster Spalding Grant by February 15th. That form had to be mailed to the Diocesan Office in Peoria (per the instructions).
• Please be aware that no further financial assistance will be available without completing the above process; as we have noted in our many letters, phone calls and other communications.
