Delineation of Authority
(last update: 7/8/08)

The PASTOR is the SPIRITUAL LEADER of the parish faith community.  He gives direction to the work of the Commission on Education and the principal of the school.
The COMMISSION ON EDUCATION is the advisory body for the school.  It derives its authority from the Commission Constitution which was developed in conjunction with the Pastor and Administration.
The PRINCIPAL is the EDUCATIONAL LEADER who, together with the faculty is responsible for seeing that appropriate regulations are made to implement Commission policies.
The HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION exists in order that parents and teachers may work together in the development, implementation, and evaluation of school regulations which affect the physical, mental, moral, and spiritual growth of all children enrolled in Holy Family School.  The Association also assists the school financially in the purchase of needed equipment and instructional materials.
The TEACHER plans, directs, and evaluates learning activities which enable the students to develop the understandings, attitudes, and skills included in the curriculum of the school.
