CARE OF BOOKS, ETC.
All hardbound and some softbound textbooks are used on a loan basis.  Teachers may examine textbooks at any time and charge a fine if the book is damaged.  If a student marks, bends pages or cover, or damages the book in any other way, s/he will be asked to purchase a replacement text.
Students are fined for property damage of any kind.

CARE OF STUDENT DESKS AND CHAIRS
As with all school property, students are responsible for good care of their desks, chairs and lockers.  If these are scratched, marred, or broken by the student, a fine will be set according to the cost of the furniture.

USE OF SCHOOL FACILITY OR GROUNDS
No adult or groups of adults shall be allowed in the school after school hours or on weekends without prior permission of the principal and/or pastor.
Any adult or group using the school facilities will assume responsibility for any damage in or to the school.  Said adult or group will not admit any other person(s) not identified with said group onto the premises without prior permission of the principal or pastor.
Any use of the school building or grounds, first, needs approval of the pastor.  Then the possible event would be scheduled only if a non-conflicting date can be arranged.  This scheduling would need to be completed well in advance of the event through the school and/or church offices.
Any non-parish organization desiring use of the school facilities would need to supply proof of liability insurance prior to the scheduled event.  Any organization using the school is expected to set-up and clean-up from their activity.  This would include returning any school equipment to the proper location.  All deposits and applicable fees would need to be paid prior to the scheduled event.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Students who damage, break or destroy school property carelessly or purposefully are required to pay for replacement in full.

SCHOOL PROPERTY PROTECTION
Desks and lockers are school property and made available for occasional student use on an "open desk/locker" basis.  This includes temporary storage of student’s books, papers, etc.  The school retains the right at all times to inspect desks/lockers.
Lockers are provided for 6th-8th grade students.  Locks must be school-issue.  There will be a $4.00 annual locker deposit with a $2.00 rebate at the end of the school year when the lock is returned.  There will be a $5.00 charge for locks not returned.
Any items found which are contrary to legal possession, commission policy, or school regulations shall be removed and impounded.  The student may be subjected to disciplinary action.  Parents shall be notified.  If the student is not present during the search, he/she shall be informed, as soon as practical, of the action taken.
Students will be accountable, and financially responsible, too, for any willful damage to any school property, for example: carving or other defacement of any surface.  Parents or legal guardian shall be financially responsible for willful damage to school property.
