News Extra CONGRATULATIONS •Nathanial Ames – Made State Finals in IKWF 156 lb. weight class. This means Nathanial is one of the top 16 wrestlers in the state for his weight class! Good luck at State Finals this weekend! •Ellen Elghammer – was the Grandparent Essay winner for her grade category in the WAND and McDonald’s Writing Contest. •Daniel Wise – was the Grandparent Essay winner for his grade category in the WAND and McDonald’s Writing Contest Remember…if you are using MarchCare, the daily fees must be paid in advance. Also, remember…all fees must be current (or a plan in place) before 2008-2009 registration is taken. Registration will begin April 7th. Dates to Remember • National Catholic Education Association National (NCEA) Convention is in Indianapolis from March 25-28th. Our teachers are planning to attend. • Don’t forget Holy Week! • No MarchCare March 21st (Good Friday) and March 24th (Easter Monday) • Classes resume March 31st. •The Sacrament of First Reconciliation for our second graders is April 5th at 10:00 a.m. • The Sacrament of First Communion is April 6th at the 10:00 Mass. • The Athletic Banquet is scheduled for April 16th. • Teacher Inservice – No student attendance on Friday, April 25th. Don’t Forget…to sign-up for the Transportation reimbursement Program…must come to the office to sign the form—we cannot send it home; it is a group form. SCRIP is a great way to get your Fair Share dollars! There are some cards available for sale in the office. Plus, plan to order for gas and groceries as well as your favorite restaurants for the summer. |
