• April 16th – Athletic Banquet • April 25th – No School for Students – Teacher Inservice Day • April 28th – Mid-Term Grades go out with all students in grades K-8 • May 4th – May Crowning at the 10:00 Mass • May 5th – 2:00 dismissal for Faculty Meeting • May 6th - Grade 4 to the Symphony at DHS • May 2-8th – Gr. 5, Outdoor School • May 9th – Gr. 6, Conservation Olympics • May 14th – Home and School Association General Meeting – Talent Show • May 15th – Preschool Graduation at 7:00p.m. in the gym • May 16th – 4th/5th Grade Class Trip to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum • May 19th – No School, Teacher Workshop • May 21st – 8th Grade Graduation Mass at 7:00 in the church • May 22nd – Fun Day • May 23rd – Last Day of Student Attendance – 11:00 Dismissal; No AfterCare Honor’s Assembly 9:30. Nathanial Ames had a terrific season as he qualified for State Competition and then was chosen for the Third Team National Team where his team placed sixth in the Nation! Great work, Nathanial! Of course! Who wouldn’t? Well, you too can win like those listed below. Their names were chosen from the bingo workers’ tickets. Each time you work, your name is added to the "hat". At the end of each month we draw two names and that family wins one-half of a parishioner rate or $86.50 each. This check is written from Home and School Association directly to the school and we credit your tuition account. So work and help the school, get your ticket drawn and you win tuition—everyone wins! Dental check-up forms can be obtained in the school office.
The Schlarman Raffle means dollars for us too. Did you know that? It’s true, we earn $10.00 for Holy Family for each $100. ticket you sell. Three tickets were sent home in February with the rules and payout chart. If you need additional tickets, please call. You do earn Fair Share credit for each ticket sold. Thank you for your help! Armando Romero has begun a mural in the Art Classroom on the "clock wall." The children know what the subject is, but Mrs. Dunavan is staying mum until the project is complete. Mrs. Dunavan reports that Armando has "a passion for his subject and is doing an excellent job."
