September 12, 2008 Dear Parents, We are near the end of the first quarter already. Our BIG Race For Education is coming up on the 25th. There is much left to do. Next week we will be working on the following topics: READING: Sequence, syllables, fiction and non-fiction, onset and rime MATH: +1 facts and test, ordinals through 6th RELIGION: First Quarter test, Saints LANGUAGE ARTS/PHONICS: Letters Oo and Pp and activities SOCIAL STUDIES: Symbols of our country IMPORTANT NEWS AND INFORMATION: 1. We will attend Mass on Friday, September 19. 2. Mark your calendars for our special monthly Mass on Sunday, September 21. All students are invited to celebrate Mass at 10:00 as a school family. 3. Our box tops total is 508 box tops. The September goal is 1,600 set by Miss Croy. 4.
