Church of the Holy Family

July 26, 2007

Dear Parents:

Now that our vacations are over and school is back in session, God calls us back to the vineyard of our employment and the enterprise learning and formation. We are back at work with renewed hope that God will bless our plans and efforts to realize them.
As we begin this new academic year, please remember that you as parents are the primary educators of your children. As you struggle to fulfill this sacred trust, we at Holy Family pledge our energies and resources to assist you in every way we can. But no one can help more than God.
To succeed in your sacred stewardship, you must merge faith and reason in our children. As we educate, may we not fail to form. Education and spiritual formation is at the core of our Holy Family School mission. The two are inseparable.
To have value, education must rest on Sunday and daily prayer. A child that reads but does not celebrate with his or her spiritual family on Sunday, is like a gifted athlete who knows the game but chooses not to play.
Partner with us in teaching our children not only how to read and play, but to live a life of the spirit well through daily prayer and Sunday Mass. Bring them to our Sunday celebrations of the Eucharist. If you show the way, they will follow - and bless you for it especially when times get rough.
May the Lord richly bless you.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Father Ted Pracz, Pastor
